Trak is a 6-person team building job management software for trade businesses. No outsourced support, no offshore call centres, no investors steering us off course.
Our story
We built Trak because the existing tools didn't fit.
In 2017 we were running a trade business that was drowning in paperwork. The software options were either per-user platforms (which made no sense when we had subbies coming and going every month) or enterprise systems built for accountants, not for the team in the van.
So we built our own. Same problem, same kind of business, same realities. A few mates asked if they could use it. Then a few of their mates. By the end of 2017 we were running it for a handful of trade businesses across Melbourne.
We're still that. A small team, building for businesses that look like the one we came out of.
What we believe
Four things we won't trade off.

No cost per user.
You shouldn't pay more because you hired an apprentice. We charge for jobs, not for seats. Every plan supports the whole team, staff, admin, casuals, subbies.

Pricing tied to the work you're actually doing, not how many people are looking at the screen. If you run fewer jobs one month, you pay less. Simple.

Every chat and every email comes to one of the six of us. The same people building the product. No outsourced support team, no chatbot, no offshore queue.

SWMS, MYOB, Xero, GST, BPAY, the rhythm of working with subbies down here, we build for our market, not the US one. The product knows what state you're in.
