The Access Group has acquired the job management platforms GeoOp and GeoNext. As part of the transition, users of those platforms are being asked to move across to Tradify, another platform The Access Group acquired, as GeoOp and GeoNext are shut down.
Tradify works in the same space, but it won’t suit every ex-GeoOp and GeoNext user. A forced migration is a reasonable moment to re-evaluate what you actually need from job management software rather than just accepting the platform you’ve been moved to.
What’s different about Trak
The biggest difference is pricing. Tradify charges per user per month, which gets expensive quickly for smaller trade businesses and for anyone running a lot of subcontractors. Trak has no cost per user. The base features are $1 per job, so you pay for the work you’re actually doing, and there’s no financial penalty for adding another person to the system.
