IAUDITOR
While Trak is a comprehensive web-based job management platform, SafetyCulture's iAuditor app is a platform that focuses on conducting inspections and correcting safety issues with aspects of job management. iAuditor has three plan levels (Free, Premium & Enterprise) and as the Premium plan is the recommended version, we will be focusing on this for the comparison. iAuditor differs from Trak in that it solely focuses on functionality designed to help with conducting inspections, whereas Trak has the capability for extensive inspection reporting among its many other features. While iAuditor allows you access to a wide range of report templates available for their app, Trak's comprehensive Report Builder ensures you will likely not need pre-made report templates as you can fully customise your own.
Feature comparison
Price
On Trak, you only pay $1 per job. With that, you have access to all of the app’s base features. iAuditor’s premium plan (recommended) is $24 USD per user per month.
Number of Staff
Trak allows for companies to add an unlimited number of users and subcontractors at no extra cost. iAuditor allows for an unlimited number of users, however each one adds to the overall cost.
Subcontractors
Trak allows you to add an unlimited number of subcontractors who can create their own accounts and see all relevant job information. iAuditor does not appear to allow for the addition of subcontractors to your team.
Customisable Permissions
On Trak, you’re able to adjust the permissions for any number of custom user groups you create so you have full control over what they can see. iAuditor also has a large number of permission settings for user control.
Estimating
Trak has an in-depth profitability system that allows for accurate estimating by taking into account all expenses on a job. iAuditor does not allow for estimations as it has no job profitability features.
Job Profitability
Trak has a comprehensive job profitability chart that allows you to track all expenses, costs and wages against the profits from the job to accurately determine how much money a job will net you. iAuditor has no distinct job creation feature and therefore does not allow for job profitability.
Payments
Trak integrates with Stripe and BPAY so that users can take automatic payments via credit card, bank transfer, or via instalment plans as well as allowing for manual payments such as credit card and cash payments. iAuditor does not have any sort of payment feature in-app.
Scheduling
Trak allows you to easily schedule you and your team to jobs, as well as adding non-job related items on the user calendar for events such as RDO’S or annual leave. iAuditor also allows you to schedule your team as well as scheduling tasks like inspections.
Quoting & Invoicing
On Trak you can create custom quotes, and once approved, turn them into an invoice within seconds as well as sending them out to the client from the app. iAuditor does not allow you to create quotes or invoices.
SWMS
Trak has a comprehensive SWMS system with the ability to create in-app as well as a variety of accredited SWMS templates available for purchase. iAuditor offers a large range of pre-built safety reports and SWMS as well as the ability to create your own.
Report Builder
Trak allows users to create completely custom report templates and for those to be completed on the jobsite – these could include things such as job completion reports or site checks. iAuditor has a similar report builder functionality letting you create custom report templates.
File Attachments
Trak allows users to attach files to jobs, quotes, invoices, SWMS and reports. iAuditor appears to allow you to attach files to tasks and reports.
Tasks
On Trak, users are able to create tasks for both users and jobs, assign them and add due dates, reminders and notes. iAuditor has a similar tasks feature except it’s called issues.
Recurring Jobs
While both apps let the user return to a job site any number of times at no extra cost, iAuditor only allows for the repeated use of reports and checklists for inspections on the site. Trak allows you to perform these actions as well as recurring quoting, invoicing, profitability updates and more.
Accounting Integrations
Trak offers an automated integration with Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks. iAuditor does offer some integrations, however none of them are accounting software.
Mobile App
Trak is a progressive web app that can be easily accessed and saved to the home screen on your mobile. iAuditor has a web app and a native app available on the app stores.
Offline Access
Trak requires internet connectivity to be able to use our app. iAuditor only allows you to perform inspections through the mobile app while offline but has to be connected to the internet later to synchronise these.
Knowledge Base
Both apps have an extensive catalogue of knowledge base articles for reference on how to operate the applications.
Support Videos
Both apps have a series of training videos to help users learn to use the software.
